We conduct an MRI so that we can see the bones and soft tissues such as cartilage, meniscus, tendons and ligaments. It is also done for your safety, we want to make sure that there are no anomalies or reasons why treatment would not be a good option. They were both done at the same lab, with the same GE 1.5 tesla MRI machine. The first MRI was done May 2015 and the follow up was done February of 2016. The May 2015 MRI showed a torn ACL, 3rd degree lesion of the anterior meniscus, 1st degree tear of the posterior meniscus and both anterior meniscus had 2nd degree tears.
