How to Heal Heart Disease or Heart Damage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is a very rudimentary explanation of how the heart muscles heal, but enough information to get us to where mesenchymal stem cells can come into play to help this process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we age it is clear that we tend to not heal as fast or as well. A big factor in this process is the depletion of our natural reserve of mesenchymal stem cells. When we hit bone maturity at age 21 for men or 18 for women, we then lose 90% of our capillaries as we are no longer growing and don\u2019t need all that extra blood flow.
