Intranasal Stem Cell Injection

The intranasal stem cell injection is done with 25 million mesenchymal stem cells. The idea here is similar to our nebulized stem cell treatment in getting the stem cells to the mucus membrane to the blood stream and straight to the brain. Dr. Romo our head physician was trained on this technique by Dr. Jason Williams of www.williamscancerinstitute.com. Dr. Williams pioneered this technique with a patient named David (as seen in the video below) about 5 years ago. David had some mental issues and a diagnosis of autism. Dr. Williams injected the stem cells into the mucosa at the back of the nose and it helped David a lot. We were connected by David’s mother and Dr. Williams agreed to train Dr. Romo in this technique as Dr. Williams is only focused on cancer treatments and his gene therapy company www.bioviva-science.com .

We are now able to inject 25 million stem cells into the nostril. This treatment and pricing is for 25 million in one nostril, but you have space for 2 of these treatments if you visit us. This is the most affordable way to get stem cells to the brain for diseases like Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Dementia, Stroke, Brain damage or Autism (ASD).

Intranasal Stem Cell Injection Process

  • We start with a blood panel to check overall health
  • Dr. Romo sprays a lidocaine mist into the nostril to numb it up
  • Dr. Romo injects 10 million stem cells into the mucosa at the back of the nostril

Nebulized Stem Cell Therapy for Brain Health

Intranasal Stem Cell Injection for Brain Health

Why do we want mesenchymal stem cells to go to the brain? We want the stem cells to the brain because they will target inflammation, boost the immune system, rebuild nerves and neurons and guide healing.

Mesenchymal Stem Cells have a profound effect on macrophages in the brain, which are microglia. The microglia account for 10% to 15% of the cells in the brain. They are very important, so if they are not working properly then brain health will be off balance. Studies show that the mesenchymal stem cells do a great job of helping the microglia function properly and proliferate. The microglia are resident macrophage cells, they act as the first and main form of active immune defense in the central nervous system (CNS). In Alzheimer’s or Dementia it is believed that plaque build up may contribute to the disease. The microglia are responsible for removing plaque, damaged or unnecessary neurons or synapses, and infectious agents. So having plenty of healthy microglia is extremely important to brain health. The Mesenchymal stem cells have been shown in multiple studies to increase the number of microglia.

The Mesenchymal stem cells also help regulate Astrocytes. Astrocytes perform many functions such as biochemical support of endothelial cells that form the blood–brain barrier, provision of nutrients to the nervous tissue, maintenance of extracellular ion balance and a role in the repair and scarring process of the brain and spinal cord following traumatic injuries. The brain repair role is very important for health.

Mesenchymal stem cells also release neurotrophic factors that guide neural regeneration. Neuronal loss is partly compensated by mesenchymal stem cell transplantation. More neurons means a better working brain.
