IV + Nebulized MSCs

The ARDS Stem Cell Treatment Consists of the Following:

Spirometry & Chest CT

Full pulmonary function test and chest CT scan, then analysis with our internist to establish baseline and clear you for treatment.

300 Million Stem Cell IV

Our highest-dose MSC IV — 300 million Wharton’s Jelly-derived mesenchymal stem cells infused directly into the bloodstream to reach the lungs systemically.

4 Sessions of 25M MSCs via Nebulizer

25 million MSCs delivered directly into the lungs via nebulizer in 4 targeted sessions — maximising local lung tissue repair alongside the systemic IV dose.

NAD+ & High Dose Vitamin C IV

Administered after the stem cell IV to reduce oxidative stress, support cellular energy production, and amplify the regenerative response.

7-Day Treatment Schedule

Patients must be in Bucerias or Nuevo Vallarta for at least 7 days. Select accommodations nearby as this protocol requires frequent clinic visits.

1

Arrive and Rest

Check in to your hotel in Bucerias or Nuevo Vallarta. Rest and recover from travel.

2

Bloodwork, Spirometry & Chest CT

Full blood panel, pulmonary function test, and chest CT scan completed at the clinic.

3

Review Scans with Internist

Our internist reviews all scans to clear you for treatment. They reserve the right to deny treatment if your body cannot safely handle it.

4

Free Day — Cell Preparation

We take the MSCs out of cultivation this day to prepare them for your treatment tomorrow.

5

IV Stem Cell Treatment + 2nd Nebulized Session

Receive your 300M Stem Cell IV plus the first and second nebulized MSC sessions.

6

Two Nebulized Sessions

Two nebulized MSC sessions — one in the morning and one in the afternoon — for maximum local lung delivery.

7

Fly Home

Morning rest and final check-in. Transportation to PVR airport provided. We recommend staying one additional day to rest if possible.

Important

If you are in town for more than 7 days, sessions may not be on consecutive days. Always stay in Bucerias or Nuevo Vallarta for easy transportation.

The ARDS Stem Cell Treatment at Dream Body Clinic

Looking for a revolutionary way to treat Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS)? With our advanced ARDS stem cell treatment, we can help reduce inflammation, promote tissue repair, and improve lung function. Our treatment is based on the use of mesenchymal stem cells, which have shown incredible results in reducing mortality rates associated with ARDS.

At Dream Body Clinic, we understand that ARDS can be a life-threatening condition that requires rapid intervention. That’s why our team of experienced medical professionals is dedicated to providing prompt, effective, and scientifically proven treatment options.

We use Wharton’s Jelly (umbilical cord tissue) and placenta to derive our pure, isolated MSCs. Then we cultivate them to get the hundreds of millions necessary for this advanced treatment. The MSCs are then safely infused into your body to facilitate natural healing and regeneration. MSCs also release growth factors and cytokines that promote tissue regeneration, reduce inflammation, and modulate the immune response — all of which are crucial for pulmonary health.

Our treatment is minimally invasive, requires little or no downtime, and is accompanied by minimal discomfort.

How Mesenchymal Stem Cells Work for ARDS

Three powerful anti-inflammatory molecules released by MSCs that drive lung repair

How MSCs Work for ARDS

When injected intravenously, MSCs reach the lungs and act on various cell types involved in the inflammation response. MSCs secrete anti-inflammatory cytokines and growth factors, reducing inflammation, promoting tissue regeneration, and repairing damaged alveoli. MSCs also have a paracrine effect — signalling neighbouring cells to promote tissue regeneration and keep lung tissue healthy.

How MSCs Help Alveoli in ARDS

MSCs secrete anti-inflammatory molecules including interleukin-10, TGF-beta, and prostaglandin E2, which reduce inflammation and improve alveolar gas exchange. MSCs can also differentiate into type II pneumocytes — cells responsible for producing surfactant, which reduces surface tension in the alveoli and prevents collapse during exhalation.

Interleukin-10 (IL-10) Released by MSCs

IL-10 is a potent anti-inflammatory cytokine released by MSCs that inhibits the activity of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-alpha, IL-1, and IL-6. By inhibiting these cytokines, IL-10 reduces lung inflammation, reduces damage to alveolar tissue, and prevents further loss of lung function.

In addition to anti-inflammatory effects, IL-10 promotes tissue repair by stimulating the growth and differentiation of type II pneumocytes, which produce surfactant — a vital component that maintains structural integrity and prevents alveolar collapse.

Transforming Growth Factor-Beta (TGF-β)

TGF-beta plays a crucial role in modulating inflammation and triggering tissue regeneration. When MSCs are introduced into the bloodstream, they release TGF-beta, which promotes the proliferation of fibroblasts, endothelial cells, and epithelial cells involved in tissue repair.

TGF-beta also stimulates VEGF secretion, helping stimulate blood vessel formation and angiogenesis — promoting neovascularisation and aiding in tissue repair throughout the damaged lung architecture.

Prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) Released by MSCs

PGE2 is a lipid mediator produced by MSCs that reduces inflammation by inhibiting TNF-alpha and IL-6, while increasing anti-inflammatory cytokines and enhancing phagocytosis. PGE2 also promotes tissue repair by regulating lung cell proliferation and stimulating endothelial growth for new blood vessel formation.

Furthermore, PGE2 has immunomodulatory properties that maintain a healthy balance between pro- and anti-inflammatory processes — preventing excessive inflammation while enabling healing.

Side Effects & Risks

  • 1 in 100 people may experience a slight fever and/or headache for a few hours after treatment. 500mg of Tylenol easily resolves this.
  • Any IV treatment carries a theoretical risk of infection. We have never had a patient experience an infection due to our sterility protocols.
  • We do not treat patients who have had cancer within the past 5 years.
  • As with any medical treatment there is no guarantee of results, but our outcomes have been excellent for the vast majority of patients.
  • There is a risk of releasing a thrombus from the veins in all IV patients, especially those with high cholesterol. Bloodwork on Day 2 minimises this risk. Our lab has over 8 years of cultivating MSCs with perfect safety.

How Long Do Results Last?

The results from the ARDS stem cell treatment can last for years or even indefinitely. Any improvement to your lung tissue will last because it is new pulmonary tissue. The stem cells will also reprogram your immune system to work the way it was designed to work. Once immune cells are reprogrammed and lung damage is repaired, things will work as they should — this is real regeneration, not symptom masking.

MSCs administered via IV stay in the system for 8–12 months. During that time they interact with immune cells, seek out inflammation, and guide cellular regeneration.
