Stem Cell Elbow Repair Treatment in Mexico | 50M MSC Intra-Articular Injection
Dream Body Clinic’s Stem Cell Elbow Repair uses a targeted intra-articular injection of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) to address arthritis, tendon and ligament damage, and other joint issues in the elbow.
The protocol delivers 50 million MSCs directly into the elbow joint. These cells help reduce inflammation, support cartilage and soft-tissue repair, and promote healing as a minimally invasive alternative to surgery. The treatment includes an on-site MRI and full blood panel to confirm candidacy and guide the procedure.
Patients typically stay in the Puerto Vallarta area (Bucerias, Nayarit, Mexico) for a minimum of five days. The all-inclusive package is $3,500 USD per elbow and is administered by experienced medical professionals in a certified facility. Most patients resume normal activities within a few weeks, with progressive improvements commonly reported over the following months.
This approach is suited for people with chronic elbow pain, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, partial tears, or osteoarthritis who want to avoid or delay surgical options. Results vary based on the severity and duration of the condition. An MRI is required; if prior imaging shows contraindications such as advanced osteophytes or a complete tear, the treatment may not proceed.
Our MSCs are derived from Wharton Jelly & placenta from live, healthy births in our COFEPRIS certified and ISO rated lab on site.

Stem Cell Elbow Repair Treatment
Benefits of our Stem Cell Elbow Repair Treatment:
Long-term pain relief: Our treatment utilizes the regenerative abilities of stem cells to promote tissue repair and healing, providing long-term pain relief.
Minimally invasive: Unlike traditional surgical treatments, our Stem Cell elbow Repair Treatment is minimally invasive, requiring only a single injection that takes a few minutes.
Faster recovery: Our treatment has a shorter recovery time compared to surgical procedures, allowing you to resume your daily activities faster.
Reduced risk of complications: Our stem cell therapy treatment is a low-risk alternative to surgery, with almost no chance of complications or infections.
What Can the Stem Cell Elbow Treatment Repair?
Arthritis (Cartilage Damage): Cartilage is the tissue that cushions the joints, allowing for smooth and pain-free movement. In arthritis, the cartilage becomes damaged or worn down, resulting in pain and stiffness. MSCs can help to regenerate cartilage tissue by guiding chondrocytes, which are the cells that make up cartilage. When MSCs are injected into the joint, they can reduce inflammation and promote the growth of new cartilage cells, leading to improved joint function and reduced pain.Â
Ligament Damage:Â Ligaments are the tough bands of tissue that connect bones to each other and help to stabilize joints. Injuries to ligaments can cause pain, inflammation, and instability. MSCs can help to heal ligament damage by promoting the growth of new tissue and preventing scar tissue formation. When injected into the injured area, MSCs can guide fibroblasts, the cells that make up ligament tissue, and promote the production of collagen, the substance that gives ligaments their strength and flexibility.
Tendon Damage:Â Tendons are the tough bands of tissue that connect muscles to bones. Tendon injuries can cause pain, swelling, and weakness in the affected area. MSCs can help to repair tendon damage by promoting the growth of new cells and reducing inflammation. When injected into the injured area, MSCs can guide tenocytes, the cells that make up tendon tissue, and promote the production of collagen, the substance that gives tendons their strength.
Muscle Damage:Â Muscles can become damaged due to injury, overuse, or age-related changes. Muscle damage can cause pain, weakness, and limited mobility. MSCs can help to repair muscle damage by promoting the growth of new muscle cells and reducing inflammation. When injected into the injured area, MSCs can guide myoblasts, the cells that make up muscle tissue, and promote the production of myosin and actin, the proteins that enable muscle contraction.
How do Mesenchymal Stem Cells Guide the Removal of Scar Tissue in an Injured Elbow?
How do Mesenchymal Stem Cells Regenerate Cartilage for Arthritis?
Production of chondrogenic factors:Â MSCs can guide the regeneration of chondrocytes, which are the primary cells that produce cartilage. By producing chondrogenic factors, MSCs can promote the differentiation of MSCs into chondrocytes and increase the production of cartilage.
Production of extracellular matrix components:Â MSCs can also promote the production of extracellular matrix components, such as collagen and proteoglycans, which are important components of cartilage.
Reduction of inflammation:Â Inflammation is a major contributor to cartilage degeneration in osteoarthritis. MSCs can suppress inflammation and contribute to a less inflammatory environment, allowing for the production and maintenance of cartilage.
Paracrine signaling:Â MSCs can also release various growth factors, cytokines, and chemokines that promote cell proliferation, differentiation, and tissue repair. By modulating the activity of nearby cells, MSCs can help to promote cartilage regeneration.
Elbow MRI Included with Stem Cell Treatment
Our MRI machine is an open MRI so it is not claustrophobic
Please reference the MRI Coil image show here to be sure that your elbow will fit in it.Â
If your elbow will not fit in it then we need to know so that we can schedule your MRI with a different machine.
Some patients will not be candidates for treatment based on MRI results and in those cases we only charge for the MRI and blood panel. The MRI costs $500 usd and the blood panel is $300 usd.
How Long Do Results Last With The Stem Cell Elbow Treatment?
Pre Treatment Care Protocol
Post Treatment Care Protocol
After treatment we advise patients to take 2 weeks off from exercise or sports. Then we recommend they follow the 4 week physical rehab protocol that we provide during treatment. This is a protocol of physiotherapy exercises developed by our orthopedic surgeon to help with a fast recovery.            After the 6 weeks of rest and rehab we then recommend getting back to your favorite activities or exercise routine, but to take it light and listen to your body. If you go to the gym and you feel pain in your neck during treatment or the next day then it is best to take at least a week or more off of that exercise. It is best to listen to your body and let it heal so that your neck can be healed for good. Most patients see peak results from treatment 3 to 6 months post treatment.Â
We recommend that patients don’t start using any non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS), Prednisone, or anti-inflammatory supplements such as gingko biloba or turmeric for at least 2 weeks post treatment and preferably for 6 weeks post treatment.
We recommend that patients don’t have any corticoid steroid injections such as a cortisone shot for at least 3 months post treatment and preferably for at least 6 months as MSC Treatments typically see peak results 3 to 6 months post treatment.
How to Book a Stem Cell Elbow Treatment at Dream Body Clinic
Side Effects or Risks
- A small number of patients have experienced tightness and soreness in the joint the night after treatment or the following day. This is easily treated with the tramacet we provide every patient.
- A very small percentage of patients for this treatment will be non-responders. As with any medication or treatment there is always a chance of no change. Tylenol does not always fix a headache as an example.
- This treatment consists of an injection and as with any injections there is a very small risk of infection. We use iodine and microdacyn to minimize the chance of infection and so far we have never had a patient get an infection.
- We do not treat patients that have had cancer within the past 5 years. There is still no conclusive evidence linking stem cells to make cancer worse, but we prefer to stay on the side of safety until more information is available.Â
Fortunately the stem cell elbow treatment is extremely safe. The only documented side effects are the following:
Our lab has over 8 years of experience cultivating mesenchymal stem cells with perfect safety and efficacy. See Stem Cell Certification by Clicking Here.
The mesenchymal stem cells that are administered via intra-articular injection will stay in the system for 8 months to a year. During that time they will interact with immune cells and seek out inflammation where they will guide cellular regeneration. After 8 to 12 months any MSCs that are free bound in your system will differentiate into an osteoblast (bone cell), adipocyte (fat cell) or chondrocyte (cartilage cell). They will then contain the donor’s HLA markers and your immune system will destroy and remove them. This is an easy process for your immune system and there is no negative reaction in your body from it.

9 Things to Know Before Getting Stem Cell Elbow Treatment in Mexico
Elbow pain from tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, a partial tear, or arthritis can make gripping, lifting, and even typing uncomfortable. If rest, therapy, and injections have not helped, you may be weighing surgery. Dream Body Clinic in BucerÃas, Mexico (near Puerto Vallarta) offers a non-surgical option: a targeted injection of 50 million mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) into the elbow joint. Here is what to know before you decide.
1. It is a 50 million cell injection into the elbow joint
The protocol delivers 50 million MSCs by intra-articular injection directly into the elbow joint. The aim is to calm inflammation and support repair of cartilage and soft tissue such as tendons and ligaments. The clinic describes it as a minimally invasive alternative to surgery, and says the injection takes only a few minutes.
2. The cells are made in the clinic’s own certified lab
The MSCs come from Wharton’s jelly (umbilical cord tissue) and placenta from live, healthy births. They are cultivated in the clinic’s on-site lab, which the clinic describes as COFEPRIS certified and ISO rated.
3. One published price, with MRI and bloodwork included
The all-inclusive package is $3,500 USD per elbow. It includes the 50 million cells, the injection, an on-site MRI, and a full blood panel, with treatment given by experienced medical professionals in a certified facility.
4. It is used for several kinds of elbow problems
The clinic uses it for people with:
- Chronic elbow pain
- Tennis elbow
- Golfer’s elbow
- Partial tendon or ligament tears
- Osteoarthritis of the elbow
It is aimed at people who want to avoid or delay surgery. Results vary with the severity and duration of the condition.
5. It is not right for everyone
An MRI is required, and the treatment may not go ahead if it shows a complete tear or advanced osteophytes (bone spurs). The most common reason for disqualification is a complete tear or bone spurs in the joint. If you are not a candidate, you pay only for the MRI ($500) and blood panel ($300), not the treatment fee. The clinic also does not treat patients with cancer in the past 5 years, and advises against treatment within 3 months of a cortisone injection. A very small percentage of patients are non-responders.
6. You get an MRI on site, and it is required
A new MRI is done at the clinic and is included in the price, so the doctors have accurate data on the joint. If you have a recent MRI from the past year, you can email the written radiology report (not the images) to the clinic for a preliminary review. The clinic notes that the MRI coil has size limits, so check the measurements on the page and tell the clinic if your arm may not fit. They can arrange an MRI with a partner lab instead.
7. Plan on about five days in town
A typical schedule for each elbow:
- Day 1:Â arrive and rest
- Day 2:Â MRI and bloodwork
- Day 3:Â MRI review and payment
- Day 4:Â treatment
- Day 5:Â fly home
Treatment is at Dream Body Clinic in BucerÃas, Nayarit, in the Puerto Vallarta area. Exact details depend on availability.
8. Recovery: a few weeks to return, months to peak
- Night of and day after:Â some joint tightness or soreness is possible. The clinic provides medication for it.
- First 2 weeks:Â no exercise or sports.
- Weeks 2 to 6:Â a 4-week physiotherapy protocol, developed by the clinic’s orthopedic surgeon.
- After week 6:Â gradually return to your usual activities.
- Months 3 to 6:Â peak results are typically reported.
The injected cells stay in the body for about 8 to 12 months, seeking out inflammation.
9. Prepare before you go
- Stop NSAIDs and prednisone at least 1 week before treatment.
- Do not book within 3 months of a cortisone or corticosteroid injection.
- After treatment, stay off NSAIDs, prednisone, and anti-inflammatory supplements such as ginkgo or turmeric for at least 2 weeks, preferably 6.
- Avoid cortisone shots for at least 3 months after, preferably 6.
The clinic uses iodine and Microdacyn to minimize infection risk and says no patient has had an infection so far.
