  • Carpal tunnel syndrome (numbness or tingling in the hand and fingers) – This is the only real negative side effect we have seen occur. Those are extremely large doses. That means a 100kg (220 lbs) man would have to inject 100IU per day to cause down regulation of the pituitary gland. At Dream Body Clinic we recommend 1.8IU (0.06mg) per day for people weighing less than 250 lbs (113kg). This applies to men or women. The reason women need to take the same dose or higher than a man is because women produce much more estrogen than men and estrogen allows less IGF-1 to be produced in the liver when HGH is processed. So a 100lb women will get nearly the same IGF-1 conversion as a 200 lbs man at the same dose of HGH.For Athletic Performance or for Children trying to grow taller we sometimes recommend a higher dose of 3.9IU (1.3mg) per day. This dose is typically the highest we recommend because doses of 6iu (2mg) per day or higher can cause insulin sensitivity which will lead to type 2 diabetes. This is why bodybuilders that do 10IU to 30IU per day have to inject insulin with it to prevent those issues. Do not inject insulin with HGH as it is extremely dangerous.Unfortunately the Merck Saizen pen is not available, but we have the cartridges which are easy to use without a pen.
